Held annually, the ISA Expo location alternates between Las Vegas, Nevada, and Orlando, Florida. Since the Show’s debut in 1947, it has been breaking records in attendance and sales, going from a few hundred booths to 1800 booths representing 500 companies. They are now receiving 17,000 attendees every year.
This year the ISA Sign Expo is launching an App for your smartphone or tablet. It was sponsored by Nova Polymers, a photopolymer manufacturer and distributor; they will be part of the exhibit on booth 1924. The mobile app allows you to create an agenda for the show, look up exhibitors, view speaker and training sessions, take photos, and get general information from the show. Networking can be done from the App too, you can see who’s at the event, and connect with them. As you use the app, you’ll earn points and badges for participation. ISA Sign Expo 2014’s is expected to be bigger and better than ever. The event will focus on creating an experience for attendees that captures the high energy and visually stimulating world of on-premise signage. There also will be opportunities for various segments of the industry to connect. This year will feature almost 200,000 square feet of exhibit space and include a total of 85 educational sessions.
The ISA Expo offers plenty of opportunities to meet with existing suppliers and manufacturers and see their new products. It also includes a variety of ways to expand business for sign companies. ISA International Sign Expo also offers the chance to bond with peers, customers, and influencers from around the world. A partnership with the Society for Experiential Graphic Design will bring architects and designers—a group that provides business for sign companies—to the show for networking and educational events. This builds upon an extremely successful initiative in 2013 and adds one-on-one meetings with some of the industry’s top suppliers.
